1. Kinesiology Taping in Dogs, with Solange Mikail: DVM, MSc DACVSMR DIPLOMAT OF THE ACVSMR. This lecture will explain the mode of action behind the technique and show the main applications in orthopaedic problems as well as curious applications.
2. Rehabilitations Vital Role in the Management of Gracilis Myopathy, with Andrea Henderson: DVM, MS, DACVSMR. Canine gracilis and hamstring myopathies can be among the most frustrating musculoskeletal conditions to treat. This lecture will include a discussion of possible causes with the goal of prevention and will cover some rehabilitation techniques that may effectively enhance mobility for this, as yet, incurable disorder.
3. Equine Lymphatic Drainage, with Christa Veinotte: Equine Rehabilitation Specialist. This presentation will discuss the equine lymphatic system, certain conditions, and barriers to rehabilitation and treatment.
4. Objective Gait Analysis in the Horse, with Constanza Gomez Alvarez: PhD MRCVS FHEA CVA CCRT. This lecture will describe different systems in use today for gait analysis in horses for the quantification of asymmetries consistent with lameness; and how visual examination relates to objective gait analysis.
5. Microbiology in Canine Hydrotherapy, with David Levine: PT, PhD and Henry G. Spratt: Jr. Ph.D., Senior Microbiologist and Professor. This lecture will discuss microbiology as it pertains to contamination in veterinary clinics and canine hydrotherapy centres.
